Be Informed!
Minimize

We offer these links to you, not meant, by any means, to replace your care provider’s recommendations, nor is this meant as a complete informational site. We've just listed a few references to help you to begin your journey of research and discovery, in taking charge and responsibility for your health, your pregnancy, and your child.

As a doula, it's our job to help you become more informed of the choices you have as a new mother and father. Below is a list of different web pages to do some research on different subjects to become more informed as parents to make the right choices for you. The information on other sites it the sole responsibility of the site owner and may or may not reflect our philosophy or views. If you come across anything that concenrs you, please let us know so we can discuss it further.

We will support any decisions you make but it’s better for you if you make informed choice. In our time together we cannot possibly share with you all you should be aware of. Enjoy! Let us know if there's anything on this site you would like to see that isn't covered. We are really here to help. :)   If the links to others sites do not work, please notify us so we may update them.

We also have a lending library on many topics with videos, books, and magazines. Feel free to stop by and browse any of the above. Sign up for a "Be Informed!" workshop or small class, support groups and movie nights where we will watch different movies about birth and mothering and starts discussions.

Remember, a woman who doesn’t find out her choices doesn’t have any. Be informed! Make choices that are best for you and your baby. That is where your power comes from. KNOWING that the choices you made were out of knowledge and power rather than fear.
