I think giving him a pacifier to get him to sleep at this point would into be a bad thing. But it is ultimately up to you.
If you are going to give him cows milk or expressed breast milk, trying to give it to him in a sippy cup other than a bottle is perfect, even preferred.
Once he is sleeping more at night, then moving the crib out of the room would be fine. but I think moving at this point would be very hard on him. He is likely acting this way because he wants the reassurance you are there. If you move him it will take some of that away and possibly get worse. I would suggest getting him sleeping a little better, then moving the crib towards the door some. then eventually moving it out of the room to another room and then always getting him to sleep in his own room.
You also might try getting him used to being in his room for other things too... like fold laundry in his room while he plays in his crib, or read him stories etc.... he will then learn that his crib is not such a bad place to be...
please don't feel bad about asking questions... Sometimes it takes me longer to respond but ask as many as you need.
