Birth Doulas

Includes 1-2 prenatal visits in your home, on call service 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after you’re due date, birth support (includes emotional support, position changes, massage, heat and cold relief, birth ball positioning, counter pressure, aromatherapy and more.) until 1-2 hours following birth to provide personal comfort, help establish breastfeeding if desired., and one postpartum follow-up visit within 2 weeks of the birth.

We have packages for Birth doula services. We train and mentor our own doulas. The more experience they have the more they usually charge. You can email us your budget and ask for a quote and we can find someone within the range you need. 

Bartering is almost always possible for portions of any service. Contact us for details. We will work with you as much as we can to get you the service and support you need while making it feasible for us to work.

Postpartum & Ante-Partum Doulas

These services are not regular child care. You are entrusting a professional who is well versed in newborn care, who’s main goal is to help you be comfortable being new parents and helping you solve the issues that may arise with being a new parent.

The Postpartum Doula serves the family by creating opportunities for you to bond with your baby and gain confidence in yourselves as parents. Thus, making the transition with your new baby easier The Ante-partum doula serves the family prior to the birth, helping High risk and Bed resting moms to prepare for baby and help them become informed . Day time hours include: Assistance with light meal prep, teaching care for yourself and new baby, breastfeeding assistance, tips and tricks to sooth a newborn diapering and more, help mom & dad get some much needed rest, light meal prep, baby’s laundry, reassuring family on what to expect and other self comfort techniques related to birth recovery. Sibling care (stories, meals, playtime) so you can rest with the new baby, care of the newborn so you can spend quality time with your older child / children. Night time hours include: Helping with night feedings, diaper changes, soothing newborn and reassurance for new parents.

 

Postpartum Homecare For Families With Multiples:

Discounts are given for more than 20 hours per week. **

The Postpartum doula will help you to find solutions for the unique needs of parenting multiples. Helping with an extra pair of hands, feeding, diapering, bathing etc. so you can have time to bond with each baby. Assistance with light meal prep, teaching care for yourself and new babies, breastfeeding assistance, tips and tricks to sooth a newborns more, help mom & dad get some much needed rest, light meal prep, babies laundry, reassuring family on what to expect and other self comfort techniques related to birth recovery.
